Child and Youth Worker..
Child and youth workers work with troubled children and adolescents who face a variety of emotional, behavioral or physical problems. The problems can arise within the family, at school, as a result of drug and alcohol abuse or because of conflicts with the law. Child and youth workers use guidance and treatment programs to help young people deal with their problems. As a child and youth worker, you might be employed in a psychiatric hospital, residential treatment centre, social agency concerned with youth services, school providing education for special needs children, private group home, detention and rehabilitation centre or a community outreach program. Some child and youth workers prefer to specialize and work only with a certain age group or specific types of problems.
You often work in a group to teach life skills, behavior, social and coping skills. In an institutional setting, you eat meals with the kids, supervise chores, and even attend classes with them. You also plan and organize recreational activities, supervise homework and provide guidance and support. Through this structured environment, you can help to fill some of the psychological and physical needs of the young people you work with.
And I think that I would be good at this job because I like to work with children.

ModelI like this choice because I modeled over the summer and then I put it aside for dance and school, I like to model cause you get to where all the really cute outfits and high heels. On the other hand it does take a lot of time out of your life. With all the interviews and then if you get booked you have to go do shoots. I think that it is a really fun thing to do. You really have to be outgoing though and they will tell you that like right off the bat. As long as your outgoing and you can walk on the runway then you will be all good. I don’t like doing runway though because I’m someone who they would call really clumsy. Also female model’s make more money than the male models:)
Special Education Teacher
I want to be a special Ed teacher because I worked with the special Ed kids in elementary school. I liked it because I got to help people that some couldn’t help themselves. It was fun to help them out and I would like to do that for a living because that would be a fun job to go and do everyday. Special education teachers work with children and youths who have a variety of disabilities. A small number of special education teachers work with students with severe cases of mental retardation or autism, primarily teaching them life skills and basic literacy. However, the majority of special education teachers work with children with mild to moderate disabilities, using or modifying the general education curriculum to meet the child’s individual needs. Most special education teachers instruct students at the elementary, middle, and secondary school level, although some work with infants and toddlers. The various types of disabilities that may qualify individuals for special education programs include specific learning disabilities, speech or language impairments, mental retardation, emotional disturbance, multiple disabilities, hearing impairments, orthopedic impairments, visual impairments, autism, combined deafness and blindness, traumatic brain injury, and other health impairments. Students are classified under one of the categories, and special education teachers are prepared to work with specific groups. Early identification of a child with special needs is an important part of a special education teacher’s job, because early intervention is essential in educating children with disabilities.
